About Us

Cease Fire History

Cease Fire commenced business in 1986. The principal business was manufacturing a proprietary dual agent, automatic fire suppression system. Its unique, proven technology has been used worldwide. Over 25,000 automatic units and one million handheld portables have been sold since 1986. We have been growing our business and expanding our product line in our current location in Vancouver WA since 2002.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), O'Hare International Airport, Honeywell, LTV Steel, Navistar, US National Park Service, Chicago Transit Authority, London Underground, and Intel have depended on Cease Fire suppression systems for fire protection of valuable property and equipment.

Cease Fire was the only private company asked to testify before the US Congress following the ValuJet tragedy regarding future aviation fire suppression technology. In addition, recent evaluations of the Cease Fire technology by the US Naval Research Laboratory recognized its value and instituted further testing and evaluation for use onboard large-scale capital ships of the US Navy.

Currently, negotiations are underway between the US Government and Cease Fire LLC to place Cease Fire technology onboard the new DD-221 "Zumwat" class ships.
