Cease Fire products are used in such diverse environments as national historic sites, carnival attractions, the US Capitol Building, steel mills, automotive plants, computer rooms, and hazardous storage areas.  In all these uses, even though products were available from other, larger companies, Cease Fire's products were preferred. In critical applications, Cease Fire has consistently been the best or only solution to a fire protection problem. Our product line is effective in virtually all commercial applications.  Cease Fire is a full-service fire suppression company, and a distributor of all major brands of fire protection products. We are an international company with associates who speak Spanish, Russian, and Chinese.

Company History

Cease Fire commenced business in 1986. It has been a Michigan-based company since 1993. The principal business is manufacturing a proprietary dual agent, automatic fire extinguisher. Its unique, proven technology is used worldwide. Over 25,000 automatic units and one million handheld portables have been sold since 1986. The London Underground, Honeywell, LTV Steel, Navistar, Intel, US National Park Service, O'Hare International Airport, Chicago Transit Authority have depended on Cease Fire extinguishers for fire protection of valuable property and equipment. Cease Fire was the only private company asked to testify before the US Congress following the ValuJet tragedy regarding future aviation fire suppression technology. In addition, recent evaluations of the Cease Fire–patented technology by the US Naval Research Laboratory recognized its value and instituted further testing and evaluation for use onboard large-scale capital ships of the US Navy. Currently, negotiations are underway between the US Government and Cease Fire LLC to place Cease Fire technology onboard the new DD-21 ‘Zumwalt’ class ships.
