Mobile Office Fire Suppression

Properly planning for, affording, designing, and installing a fire suppression system is always one of the first steps a business needs to take when beginning work in a new environment. Unfortunately, too many business owners find themselves intimidated by the scope of potential difficulties associated with the world of fire suppression. Unconventional work environments, such as mobile offices, seem to pose an additional layer of complication to fire suppression. However, clients seeking to protect their mobile offices find that Cease Fire LLC makes fire suppression simple, affordable, and--most of all--effective, and it’s so much easier than they ever imagined.

Cease Fire currently manufactures an amazing stand alone, pre-engineered fire suppression unit that is the fire suppression industry’s only truly modular unit. This unit is the CFF-800, a cylinder only 7” in diameter, 15.5” in height, that contains enough fire suppressing dry chemical to extinguish a fire in a room of 768 cubic feet, or 8’ x 8’ with a 12’ ceiling. Spaces larger than these parameters can be protected by adding the proper number of additional CFF-800 units. Incredibly, the CFF-800 is designed to protect your mobile office without the use of pipes to the unit or additional wiring, making its installation a matter of minutes per unit.

The portability and stand alone nature of the CFF-800 unit is critical in moveable locations such as mobile offices, because there is never a guarantee that a sufficient water supply or electric service will always be available in every possible location.

The CFF-800 is also an excellent choice for use as a fire extinguisher in a mobile office because it contains a dry chemical fire extinguishing combination of DuPont’s FE-227 gas and ABC powder, making it safe for the vulnerable contents of a mobile office. Computers, electronic devices, records, and paperwork stored within the mobile office could be in danger of irreparable water damage if protected merely by a standard, water-based sprinkler system. With the CFF-800, the dual agent is dry, safe for electronics because of its non-corrosive nature, and is easily removed during the post-fire cleanup. Additionally, this blend has been FM (Factory Mutual) approved for effectiveness and reliability, as well as EPA-approved for environmental safety. The FE-227 gas is the Halon replacement gas of choice, for its non-ozone depleting characteristics.

In any mobile office, safety is the highest concern. The CFF-800’s dual agent blend of fire suppressant is safe and non-toxic, allowing personnel to safely leave the mobile office in event of a fire, as well as making clean up safe.

Cease Fire has been doing business since 1986, attracting the business of clients such as LTV Steel, Honeywell, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), O’Hare International Airport, the London Underground, Intel, and more. Since 1986, over one million handheld portables have been sold, as well as 25,00 automatic units. Cease Fire continues to remain at the forefront of the fire suppression industry, maintaining our commitment to continual improvement and innovation. It’s not hard to see why the U.S. Government has chosen to undergo negotiations with Cease Fire LLC in order to place Cease Fire technology onboard the new DD-221 “Zumwat” class ships: Cease Fire provides the most cost-effective, best-designed pre-engineered fire suppression units in the fire extinguishing industry.
