Protecting Vulnerable Items in a Large Warehouse Space

Many industries that own warehouse space want to be able to section off an area of their facility for products that just can't get wet. Medical documents, special equipment, sensitive products, etc, can all be ruined by fire sprinklers in the event of a fire. Rather than being confined to using just one fire suppression system, our customers can benefit from using a combination of fire sprinklers for fire suppression of less vulnerable physical assets, as well as for protecting the structural integrity of their facility, with using Cease Fire's patented waterless fire suppression system in specific, targeted areas within the larger warehouse envelope.

Rather than an all-or-nothing approach, Cease Fire Systems can be installed to address the specific vulnerable areas in the large open space. Being able to target the vulnerable area is a huge savings for the business owner, allowing the most appropriate fire suppression system to be utilized. Cease Fire's newest product, the CFF-800, is especially suited to area-specific applications: it is a stand alone, pre-engineered unit that is the industry's only truly modular unit. This modularity makes the Cease Fire system completely customizable, requiring absolutely zero wires and pipes, and making it superior fire protection for valuable equipment.

Protecting your business starts with protecting the trust that your customers place in you. Recovering from the catastrophic damage that fire and smoke and water-based fire suppression systems can cause can be a long, expensive process that hinders your ability to meet the needs of your customers. Don't forget to protect the valuable and vulnerable records, papers, technology, and other sensitive storage upon which your business so heavily relies—and not with just any fire suppression system, protect it with our proven waterless CFF-800.

The CFF-800, each a stand alone pre-engineered unit, relies upon its dual-agent blend of FE-227 gas (made by DuPont) with ABC powder. This dual-agent chemical fire suppressant is especially effective together, producing enough fire suppression for an eight by eight area with ceilings up to twelve feet, or 768 cubic feet. If more protection is needed, the CFF-800 units are able to be easily networked together, providing protection just when and where you need it.

After its simple installation via the flange that is included with the CFF-800 unit, the standalone unit quietly remains on lookout twenty four hours a day for over ten years, requiring minimal maintenance. Its automatic heat activated sensor watches over your area, and when activated, quickly releases the dual agent fire suppression blend. In four to five seconds, the non-toxic chemical extinguishes the fire, and settles into the area to prevent re-ignition.

The dual agent blend of FE-227 gas and ABC powder is not harmful to personnel in the area both during its discharge from the unit when a fire is sensed, and after the fire is completely extinguished and the clean up begins. The older chemical fire suppression systems relied heavily on Halon gas, but the CFF-800 now contains FE-227 gas, which is safe for people, the environment, and any and all equipment—electrical, telecommunications, computers—all without damaging these sensitive items. This makes it easily the best choice for protecting the areas of your warehouse that you never want to encounter water.
