Stand Alone Fire Suppression
Cease Fire offers the premier stand-alone fire suppression system.
There are many situations that may prompt you to choose a stand alone waterless fire suppression system for the protection of your valuable property. Maybe you're talking with your IT experts about computers and they say, "You know... if that sprinkler up there goes off, all the equipment in this room is going to be ruined." Or someone in the warehouse says, "All our boxes are going to be soaked and destroyed if those sprinklers go off." Maybe your insurance carrier is reviewing your coverage and they say, "The machinery in the warehouse—we have a fire hazard situation here. We need to get a system to address it." Or possibly the Fire Marshal is doing the annual inspection and he says, "You need to get some form of fire suppression in that space." But you know that the cost to extend the sprinkler system to that area is five times as much as you thought—plus, they are going to have to tear up the office. Any one of these scenarios can be frustrating, and seem to pose some difficulty. However, with Cease Fire LLC, these problems can be fixed easily and cost-effectively with minimal fuss for you or your company.
Cease Fire is a leading source of continual improvement and innovation in the waterless fire suppression industry, gaining reputable clients like the FAA, O-Hare International Airport, the London Underground, and many more. The most recent result of Cease Fire's cutting-edge innovation is their patent-pending dual agent stand alone fire suppression system, the CFF-800.
The CFF-800 is ideal for offices, computer server rooms, warehouses with valuable records or vulnerable equipment, museums, aircraft hangars and almost any other space where the typical water-based fire suppression systems are equally as damaging as the fire they're asked to extinguish. Why is dry chemical fire suppression superior to water-based fire suppression systems? The CFF-800's dual-agent fire suppression formula is comprised of two non-toxic, non-corrosive agents that pose no harm to the valuable equipment they're called to protect. These two agents are the fire-extinguishing FE-227 gas developed by DuPont as a replacement for the ozone-depleting Halon gas of earlier chemical fire extinguishing usage and Cease Fire's proprietary ABC powder, which is used for preventing re-ignition of the fire. After its quick, automatic discharge, the FE-227 gas extinguishes the fire in four to five seconds, the ABC powder effectively covers the protected area, keeping it from re-ignition, and the fire is out. Best of all, your equipment and space is a simple post-fire clean-up away from being back in business—no costly replacement of computers, records, and no lost time.
Dry chemical fire suppression is clearly imperative for any business with equipment too valuable to lose to water damage, and Cease Fire's stand alone fire suppression systems are an especially cost-effective and simple source of waterless fire suppression. Because of the stand alone nature of the CFF-800 unit, each building or space can have an infinitely customizable plan that employs exactly the right number of units needed for fire protection. In addition, the installation of the CFF-800 units is simple—no wires, no pipes, no mess. A flange is installed in or on the ceiling, the CFF-800 unit is screwed into the flange, and your fire protection begins. And it's not just installation that's easier with our stand alone units—removing the units for inspection or repair is a simple matter of unscrewing the unit, replacing if needed.
When you find yourself in need of some additional fire protection for sensitive equipment, records, and areas, don't hesitate. We at Cease Fire are in the business of making sure your business doesn't lose valuable and sensitive property due to fire or water damage, and we'll be happy to work with you to design and install the fire protection system that you need.
